I see her all the time and she often plays in the next court. Her white skirt looks very pretty today.

It’s a tough match. I double faulted in my first service game but was able to hold. Then I was serving at 4-1 in the second set, unable to hold. I’ve never served up so many doubles. Thanks to my partner, we were able to carve out a win.

A gorgeous autumn Saturday morning, blue skies, perfect court condition and I played well: crispy and less errors.

The women played their final at French Open: Sofia Kenin lost to Polish player Iga Świątek in straight sets: 6-4, 6-1.

The afternoon sun was kind of burning – yes it was that strong. One of players came back from his neck surgery on September 9: it’s less than four weeks. But he said his doctor gave him the go ahead. Great: it’s a speedy recovery.
