An awesome ending to a first round match on day 2 at Wimbledon.
Serena is playing the 31 years old Italian Giulia Gatto-Monticone (1987). And on the match point, they played as if in a ping pong game.
The commentators talk about the longest matches @ Wimbledon in the past. It doesn’t seem to be fun for all: not to the spectators, not to the players and not to the organizers – it certainly mess up their schedule. The English is kind of stubborn people who wants to hold on to tradition but at what cost? And how did they even to have the industrial revolution in the first place?
